March Schnibble Done!

Today was bee day at Suzanne’s house!  I finished sewing down the binding and attaching the label on my version of the Schnibble quilt for March just in time!  Smile

The pattern was Bibelot!  And I did not even realize until it was finished that I used the same exact fabric collection as Carrie herself!!

Moda’s Curio by BasicGrey!!  Such lovely calming fabrics!  Wonderful!

I just quilted it with a simple meander with white thread!  My backing was a stash floral that matched perfectly!  I already know who I am giving this quilt to for Christmas!!  One gift done!! Smile

We are sooo coated with pollen here in northern VA that the pollen count has broken records!  Sad smile

So, with my allergies and asthma, I am much better off in my sewing room than out gardening!!

So, what are you sewing on this wonderful spring weekend???

  1. Congratulations on your Schnibbles quilt, there is a lucky person on your Christmas list, wish it were me.

  2. Your Scnhibbles looks wonderful!! Can't wait for the parade tomorrow. :)

  3. I love your fabric choices for this month's Schnibble quilt.

I'm working on Easter outfits this weekend.

  4. Love your schnibbles Polly. Hope you can keep the pollen at bay:) Are you seeing the light yet??:)

  5. Oh it looks awesome! Christmas? OMG it will be here before we know it ;0)

Enjoy your day & happy sewing!

Ps: My fabric is in and I have started cutting out my "Four Squared" (can't wait)

  6. Another great project. Your schnibbles looks wonderful.

  7. Love your Schnibbles quilt. Sorry about the pollen, but sounds like another reason to quilt.

  8. Beautiful Schnibbles quilt. They look like little Kimonos....

I am catching up on swaps..

  9. Love you Schnibbles background fabric. I love seeing all the spring flowers in your front yard. We still have snow and brown and dirt and dust! Please spring come soon lol!!

  10. Your Bibelot is beautiful :-) That fabric is just wonderful! I used dots on my background too. They make the quilt so much fun. Lovely finish!

  11. I love your Bibelot! Except now I wish I had had some polka dots for my background too! It's perfect. :)

I'm sorry to read about the high pollen though. The worst of my allergies are over for this year, but I don't have asthma to compound the situation. Good luck and feel better ~ and you're right, it's a great reason to stay inside and sew. Especially with the company you've got. :)

  12. Darling quilt! You poor thing, you must be miserable this time of year!!

  13. Just love your 'T' block quilt and I agree that fabric line is gorgeous and calming!!!! I love your border treatment too!!
Yes, best to stay away from those awful pollens if you are suseptible to them!!!!

Thank you sooooooo very much for taking the time to leave a comment! I am always happy to know that someone is reading my ramblings!! Polly :-)
