The Hustle Bustle Season Begins

It’s been such a crazy last few weeks with Thanksgiving and on top of that, we’ve been busy helping out two sons move into new apartments on the weekends!

But Yogi and I have been really busy sewing, too.

I made four pretty little Christmas wall quilts for my three sisters and my parents.

I took these sneak peek photos then totally forgot to take a finished photo of one to share with you after I sent them to my family in Florida last week… sigh

Then I started decorating the house for Christmas on Black Friday and decided I wanted a new mini-quilt to hang over the mantle.

I had this adorable Mary Engelbreit Santa panel, so I used part of it to make a little wallhanging!

I think it’s perfect for the space!!

I’ve got the whole house decorated, the lights on the live tree in the living room, but still have to put on the ornaments.  If you remember my Demon Tree from last year, you’ll understand why I’m letting the tree sit with only lights for a few days…  if not, read this-

So, what are you working on these days?

P.S. Yogi is just plum tuckered out from all this sewing and decorating!!

  1. That little Yogi is to die for cute!! And your fireplace area is gorgeous. I LOVE Mary E., that Santa panel is great!!

  2. Yogi looks like he has been working EVER so hard.. LOL. What a cutie pie! I want one.. LOL. DH wouldn't go for it since I already have 3 dachshunds all over me.. taking up space in our bed.. nope. I'm still stitching away on my regular quilts. No Christmas gifties in the works here.

  3. It is a busy, but fun time of the year. I love the little quilt in that spot.

  4. Love the wallhanging and the decorations~!

  5. Your home and blog look so festive! Yogi does get the best sleep! Rusty is finally sitting in his chair while I sew in our basement sewing room. One day he may nap:)

  6. That wall hanging is perfect for the space and your fireplace is just gorgeous! I did a little decorating but haven't tackled the mantle or the stockings yet - today I will. blessings, marlene

Thank you sooooooo very much for taking the time to leave a comment! I am always happy to know that someone is reading my ramblings!! Polly :-)
