A Finish and a RAK!!

I did finish sewing the binding and label on my spring panel quilt last night.  Woo hoo!

I really love it.  The panel looks like a watercolor painting.

I named it "Garden Delight".

I used a cool birdhouse label on the back.

And this is where it will live in the corner of my family room each spring!

Now, for more important things!  I opened my mailbox today after work and found a big gold envelope from Sinta of the Pink Pincushion blog.  She sent me the patterns for Bunny Hill's free BOM Tisket a Tasket from last year that I discovered too late.  I've been IN LOVE with it since I saw it on Monica Soloria-Snow's blog- Happy Zombie  She called it her "Fire Quilt" because if her house was on fire, that would be the quilt she would grab to save.  And after I saw it on her blog, I could see why!!  It is sooo darn adorable!!  I AM SO THRILLED!!  And I'm not usually so IN LOVE with applique.  But this one is just soooo cute!
Thank you so much, Sinta!  YOU ROCK!!  :-)

  1. That turned out really pretty Polly! I'm working on the A Tisket A Tasket quilt blocks right now too. They are so adorable! ☺

  2. Spring HAS arrived at your house - it's beautiful. What a bright, cheerful addition in your family room.

Looks like you had a special Mail day. Sinta is so kind to have sent you all the patterns for the BOMs. Aren't fellow bloggers just the best?

Hope your Tuesday is full of warm smiles throughout your day.

  3. Wow, your Garden Delight it beautiful! I loved the "A Tisket, A Tasket" blocks! They are so much fun, and so versatile! Have fun with those! :)

  4. Polly, I love the panel. I love spring. I wish spring would come to the Dakotas. I love birds. I love color. I wish the sun would come out! It is beautiful. Have a great week. Sylvia
